Why it’s special
In the hills of Vorno near Lucca, Villa Michaela is a historic estate with Italian gardens, a palm-lined courtyard and a panoramic pool. An elegant private chapel sits beside the main house, so ceremonies and receptions flow in one place. The mood is grand yet relaxed—classic Tuscany with easy, indoor–outdoor living.

Ideal for
A multi-day, house-party wedding. The main villa has 12 bedrooms (sleeping 24 adults + 4 children). Next door, Casa Una—the farmhouse—adds 4 double rooms and a triple, all en-suite. In total, you can sleep roughly 30–35 on the estate and place any overflow nearby. We handle rooming plans and transfers end to end. 

Wedding experience
Hold your ceremony in the Oratorio dell’Annunziata, the on-site chapel designed by Lorenzo Nottolini (seats up to about 120). Or, say your vows outdoors among the lemon garden and lawns. Then move into golden-hour cocktails by the pool and a long-table dinner under lights. If the forecast changes, we pivot to covered or indoor rooms without losing atmosphere. Throughout, we curate catering, bar, lighting, music and styling with our trusted suppliers. 

Capacities and layout
Dinner for up to around 120 is feasible with in-house catering; garden and pool terraces scale well for alfresco layouts. We zone the day simply—chapel or lawn ceremony, aperitivo at the pool, dinner in the gardens—so moves stay short and photos read clean. 

Good to know
You’re minutes from Lucca, about 26 km from Pisa Airport and roughly 74 km from Florence Airport—ideal for international guests. Between events, guests can swim, play tennis or join a relaxed cooking class on site. We manage timelines, paperwork and production throughout, keeping the weekend calm and beautifully paced.
