Why it’s special
On the hills just above Florence, Villa Le Fontanelle looks across the city’s domes and rooftops. Italian gardens, a terraced parterre and a pool frame long views. Inside, salons and a petite chapel keep the historic mood while feeling effortless for modern events. The result is intimate, scenic and unmistakably Florentine.
Ideal for
A multi-day, house-party wedding. Seven suites sit in the main villa, with additional beds possible by arrangement; we place any overflow nearby. Distances are short—about 15–25 minutes to the historic center and airport—so portraits and church rites in town are easy. We coordinate rooming, transfers and pacing end to end.
Wedding experience
Say your vows in the garden, on the view terrace or in the non-Catholic chapel. Then move into golden-hour cocktails and a long-table dinner under lights. If the forecast shifts, an elegant indoor dining hall seats an intimate group and opens back to the garden, so the atmosphere holds. Throughout, we curate catering, bar, lighting, music and styling with our trusted suppliers.
Capacities and layout
Outdoors: ceremonies and receptions scale for mid- to large-size gatherings on the terrace and lawns. As planning benchmarks, guides cite around 100–150 outside, depending on layout. Indoors: plan on roughly 60–80 seated as a refined Plan B. We zone the day—ceremony, aperitivo, dinner, dancing—to keep moves short and sightlines clean for photos.
Good to know
The property sits in olive groves with direct views over Florence, which reads beautifully at dusk. Music outdoors typically winds down earlier than indoors; we shape the schedule so the party flows. Between events, guests can swim, wander the gardens or slip into town for quick excursions. We manage paperwork, timelines and production throughout.
