Why it’s special
On a ridge between Gubbio and Umbertide, Nikis Resort is a medieval hamlet with a fortress and a tiny church dating to 1137. Stone terraces look over the Assino Valley. Gardens, courtyards and a panoramic pool keep every moment close to the view. The mood is rustic, historic and quietly refined.
Ideal for
A multi-day, house-party wedding. The resort lists 14 rooms split across suites, lofts and classic rooms. Using standard and sofa beds, on-site sleeping reaches up to about 55 guests. Your core group stays together in the borgo, while any overflow lodges nearby. We coordinate rooming plans, transfers and pacing end to end.
Wedding experience
Say your vows on the lawn with the valley behind you or beside the medieval church. Legal civil rites can be hosted on site through the municipality; symbolic ceremonies are simple in the gardens. After the “I do,” move into golden-hour cocktails by the pool and a long-table dinner under lights. If the forecast changes, linked interiors give you a smooth Plan B. We curate catering, bar, lighting, music and styling with our trusted suppliers—so the look stays coherent from aisle to last dance.
Capacities and layout
As planning benchmarks, outdoor receptions scale to mid-large guest lists—guides cite up to around 100–120 seated. Indoors, the reception hall and adjoining rooms support refined dinner layouts and late-night dancing. We zone the day—ceremony, aperitivo, dinner, first dance—to keep moves short and sightlines clean for photos.
Good to know
Wellness is part of the rhythm here: a Finnish sauna, outdoor jacuzzi and treatment lounge sit in the gardens. There’s also a practice golf area on site and several 18-hole courses within easy reach. Between events, guests can swim, wander olive groves or join a relaxed pizza night on the terrace. We manage timelines, logistics and production throughout, so the weekend stays calm and well-paced.
