Why it’s special
High above Castellina in Chianti, Borgo di Pietrafitta is a restored medieval hamlet with horizon views, a panoramic infinity pool and warm, stone-built spaces. The borgo includes a 13th-century church, elegant rooms and country-chic apartments, so the weekend feels both authentic and easy. Vineyards and olive trees frame every scene. 

Ideal for
A multi-day, house-party wedding. On site there are 8 villa bedrooms plus 15 apartments. As a guide, the estate indicates an overall sleeping capacity around 65 guests in its wedding brochure. Your inner circle stays in the borgo; everyone else lodges nearby. Siena, Monteriggioni and San Gimignano sit within simple driving distances. 

Wedding experience
Say your vows in the XIII-century church for a religious rite, or stage a symbolic ceremony in the gardens with the hills behind you. For a legal civil ceremony, we arrange the town-hall rite in the area and align timings with your reception back at the borgo. Then it’s golden-hour cocktails by the pool and a long-table dinner under lights in the courtyard. We curate catering, bar, lighting, music and styling with our trusted suppliers, end to end. 

Capacities and layout
Indoors: the historic wine Cellar seats about 50.
Outdoors: Villa Garden up to ~90; Torrino Garden up to ~90; Barbecue area up to ~90.
Church: seats ~40 for services.
We zone the day simply—ceremony, aperitivo, dinner, dancing—so moves stay short and sightlines stay clean for photos.

Good to know
Exclusive-use formats are standard. The brochure notes a typical three-night minimum (seven in mid-July to mid-August). Distances are straightforward: roughly 58 km to Florence Airport and 103 km to Pisa; Siena is about 26 km. Between events, tastings at the estate winery and the infinity pool keep guests happily anchored on site. We manage rooming lists, transfers, paperwork and production throughout, so the pace stays calm.
