Why it’s special
In the Chianti hills near Gaiole, Borgo Casa al Vento is a rustic stone hamlet wrapped in vines and olive trees. Terraces, gardens and a panoramic pool open to wide countryside views. Inside, rooms and suites keep a warm Tuscan feel. Meanwhile, the on-site winery and spa add tastings and vinotherapy for a weekend that feels both local and relaxed.
Ideal for
A multi-day, house-party wedding. On site there are about 26 rooms plus a private villa, covering roughly 60 beds for your inner circle. Some guides list up to around 31 rooms and 70+ guests in expanded setups; we confirm the best mix for your dates. Additional guests stay nearby while we keep the celebration centered at the borgo.
Wedding experience
Exchange vows in the panoramic garden overlooking the vineyards. Then move into golden-hour cocktails and a long-table dinner under lights. Outdoors, receptions can reach about 100–130 guests depending on layout; indoors, plan on roughly 70–80 as a comfortable wet-weather fallback. We curate catering, bar, music, lighting and styling with our trusted suppliers, so the look stays coherent from aisle to last dance.
Capacities and layout
Ceremony: panoramic garden among the vines.
Aperitivo: pool terrace or upper lawn.
Dinner: main garden for large alfresco layouts; restaurant hall for intimate plans and Plan B.
Overnights: approx. 60 beds on site across rooms and the 8-guest villa. We right-size floor plans to reduce moves and protect sightlines for photos.

You’re a short drive from Gaiole and Radda, with Florence and Pisa as straightforward gateways. Between events, guests can swim, play tennis, taste the estate wines or book spa rituals.
