In the Umbrian hills near Nocera Umbra and Assisi, Antico Monastero di San Biagio is a medieval monastery turned countryside retreat. Stone terraces face wooded slopes and vineyards. A panoramic pool, gardens and a restored church keep everything close to nature. The mood is historic, serene and quietly cinematic.
Ideal for
A multi-day, house-party wedding. The estate offers about twenty rooms and suites, sleeping up to roughly forty-plus guests depending on setup. Your inner circle stays on site. Everyone else lodges nearby while we keep the celebration centred at the monastery. Travel is simple via Perugia; transfers from Assisi are quick.

Say your vows in the gardens with valley views, or inside the former church for a contemplative, all-weather setting. Then slide into golden-hour cocktails on the terrace and a long-table dinner under lights. If the forecast shifts, linked interiors keep the atmosphere intact. Throughout, we curate catering, bar, lighting, music and styling with our trusted suppliers—so the look stays coherent from aisle to last dance.

As planning benchmarks, outdoor receptions scale to mid-large guest counts, while the church seats around one hundred for a service. We right-size floor plans to keep moves short and sightlines clean for photos.

The property runs on a “nature and wellness” rhythm—expect a small spa focus, estate produce, and quiet corners for portraits. Distances are easy for day trips to Assisi, Spello and Gubbio. We manage rooming lists, transport, paperwork and production end to end, so the weekend stays calm and well-paced.
