Why it’s special: in the green hills of Lunigiana, Un’Ottima Annata at Borgo Vaggi is a rustic stone hamlet with olive trees, valley views and an authentic 18th-century chapel set beside the restaurant and gardens. The feel is intimate and bucolic, with spaces that flow naturally from ceremony to long-table dinner and dancing under the lights, and an honest, local food philosophy at the heart of it all.
Ideal for: couples planning a relaxed, multi-day celebration with their nearest staying close by. On site there are themed bedrooms for about twelve guests, with a partner B&B five minutes away for roughly forty more. Outdoors the garden gazebo can be seated for about one hundred, keeping the house-party rhythm while giving you room to scale the reception as needed. Pisa and Lucca are the natural gateways at around forty-five minutes by car, which keeps travel simple for international guests. We handle room blocks, transfers and on-the-ground logistics end-to-end.
Wedding experience: exchange vows in the frescoed chapel or outdoors beneath the garden gazebo, then slide into a golden-hour aperitivo and a family-style dinner with seasonal menus we curate with the estate kitchen. The indoor restaurant can host up to about one hundred for a seamless all-weather fallback. For legal civil paperwork or a Catholic mass, we arrange town-hall or church rites in the surrounding area and manage the timeline so everything meshes with your reception back at the borgo.
Good to know: capacities are straightforward—around one hundred seated outside, and up to about one hundred indoors in the restaurant. Between events we can add wine tastings, pasta workshops and gentle excursions across northern Tuscany and the Cinque Terre coast to turn the weekend into a shared holiday.
Accommodation: Up to 12 people on site – other guests can be accommodated nearby
